The CEC needs representatives from a broad spectrum of the community, including elected officials, business leaders, civic leaders, faith leaders, social services, law enforcement officials, health department officials, daycare providers, librarians, local industry workers, retirees, educators, students, and others with the knowledge and resources that can be leveraged to build strong communities.

We are looking for community members who:
• Are connected to the school community
• Focus on the needs of all students
• Listen actively to the ideas of others
• Seek to understand different perspectives
• Work with others to solve problems
• Attend meetings regularly
• Seek to come to consensus
• Navigate difficult conversations respectfully
• Advocate for underserved students
